Yield:
2 Hasselback Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
4 tbsp melted butter
cumin
chili powder
1 clove of garlic
salt & pepper
2 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp bread crums
(sour cream)
Preparation:
1) After washing and drying the tubers you want to place two wooden spoons besides the potatoes.
2) That allows you to make several incisions without the potato falling apart.
3) To give it more flavor, make our own seasoned butter. For that, add some salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder. And of course a crushed clove of garlic must not be missing.
4) Now coat the potatoes with our butter and make sure to also get into every nooks and crannies.
5) Then you can already bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F
6) After about 35 minutes, take them out, coat them again with the rest of your seasoned butter and sprinkle a bit of parsley and breadcrums over the taters.
7) Increase the heat to 200°C or 392°F and bake them again for about 5 to 10 minutes to give them a nice crust.
8) If you want to, you can serve them together with some sour cream.
