The most delicious Hamburger

Servings:

1 delicious Hamburger with a portion of fries



Ingredients:

1 Hamburger bun

150g ground beef

2 strips of bacon

cheddar cheese

salad

½ tomato

1 pickle

½ onion

1 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp mayonnaise

bourbon

white wine vinegar

worcestershiresauce

chili powder

BBQ-Sauce (preferably Dark Beer)

200g French fries



Preparation:


1) Burger with fries is the national dish of the United States. It’s debatable if the fries should be counted to the national dish and also which exact ingredients should go in the classic burger. However I’ll show you my favorite burger recipe here, even if it’s not the most traditional burger. I also think you probably prefer delicious taste before strictly adhering to tradition.


2) Once you’ve made the burger bun, you can prepare the burger patty. Season the ground beef generously with salt, pepper and a little bit of garlic powder. Cover the meat and let it sit outside the fridge while you tend to the vegetables.


3) Cut the tomatoes, pickles and onions in slices and set them aside for later.


4) Heat up a pan and fry the onion-rings in some butter on medium low heat. When they turned slightly brown, add a splash of bourbon and cover the pan immediately with a lid. Let them steam for a few minutes until they are really soft.


5) Then you’ll need to prepare a special dressing for the salad: Ketchup, Mayonnaise, a few drops of Worcestershiresauce, a tiny bit of vinegar and Bourbon and also some Chili powder. Mix it all together and then add in the chopped salad.


6) Now, heat up a pan and in the meantime form the burger patty. Add some oil into the pan and a few seconds later, the patty and of course two strips of bacon.


7) While the meat is frying, cut some cheddar cheese and when the patty and bacon look ready, remove the bacon, cover the patty in cheese and let it melt (for that cover the pan with a lid).


8) Now for the assembly: cut the bun in half, place some salad on there, as well as the onions, tomatoes and if you like them, some pickles.


9) Then here comes the patty with cheese and add the strips of bacon on top.


10) To finish it off, spread some BBQ-Dark Beer Sauce on the second half of the bun and your burger is done!


11) Serve it with French fries and enjoy this amazing, delicious soul food.
